PROJECT SCOPE:  The work consisted of extensive remodeling and renovations to the existing Motherhouse, originally constructed in 1973. New larger room configurations were developed on the 2nd and 3rd floors by combining two existing smaller bedrooms and incorporating a new bathroom facility in each. In addition, the construction of a 2nd and 3rd floor addition encompasses a new community room and entry vestibule. Modifications were made to the nursing, dinning, administration and ancillary support areas. First floor work included the remodeling and modifications to the Archives, offices, special use rooms, computer lab, workroom and erecting a new and larger library. Project was completed in two phases while the building was occupied for the duration of construction. This presented many obvious challenges, which were met and exceeded.
